I’m very excited to be sharing this item with you today. This may be the single weirdest Buzz Lightyear item I have ever seen or owned. Even after all these years I just don’t get why a Buzz Lightyear water bottle holder was ever made.

I suppose it’s supposed to insulate the water bottle to keep the water cold? It doesn’t have much in the way of any sort of padding, like a soft sided cooler does.

You see it’s got a giant puffy backpack. It’s well constructed I’ll give them that.

Notice how the arms are connected by a buckle. I suppose this is where you hang it from your belt loop? Here you can also see the little velcro opening to get the bottle in and out.

I think the part that makes this super odd (other than the simple fact that someone thought this up and it was actually listened to and planned out and made) is that it’s headless! So darn freaky! Even worse… the bottle looks like someone just took his head off and left the neck. What parent would buy this for their child or use it around them? Nuts.

Of course my favorite part is something I didn’t notice until I snapped the pictures. This isn’t just a water bottle holder… it’s “cosmic”. What’s so special about that? Well I’ll bet you don’t have a cosmic water bottle holder.

The only mention I could find online about this was an old ebay sale going for $10.
