Here we have a  collection of Toy Story dishes featuring Buzz Lightyear and his friends. From left to right a bowl, plate and child-sized spoon and fork.

All of these items display the Toy Story 2 logo so that means I most likely bought them between 1999-2000. These items have never been used and are in mint condition.

You’ll note the prongs around the bowl. These are part of a removable mounting bracket that allows me to hang it on the wall. The last wall it was hung on was my office in Kansas City where I served as Children’s Pastor for 8 years. My office was the main showplace of my collection. Every nook and cranny was packed with Buzz stuff. Now most of it, including these three are stored in plastic tubs in my closet.

I would definitely call this a Toy Story collectible rather than a Buzz Lightyear one. Not something I would buy were I to find it today. I have a mount for this guy too.

What can I say about this item? Well, it’s multi-lingual. Engligh, French and Spanish. Perhaps we can consider these utensils to be prophetic. Spanish Buzz the hit of TS3 after all. Other than that this set was produced by Zac Designs and apparently it “Makes Mealtime Fun”. I haven’t noticed any additional fun being added to my meals since buying these in 2000 so I don’t think the slogan is true.

I wonder which character is on which utensil. I’ve never looked. I hope Buzz is the fork.
