  • 39 – Selfies and Sinners

    July 23, 2014 · 6 comments

I’m flipping out about girls who take selfies every day and the way Christians freak out when un-Christian people want things that we don’t want for them.

    • I think it’s definitely more of the “I’m cute and I know it” than low self-esteem. Low self-esteem usually results in very few selfies, usually from the neck up. 🙂

      • My sister is a notorious selfie person, with tons of hashtags.

      • I always feel superior to you good looking guys. There are so many sins I am literally unable to get caught up in because of ugly. I had a buddy get caught by his wife stripping on cam for girls online. I have never been tempted… even once… to do such a thing. Not even an option. 🙂

        • It’s hard being really really ridiculously good looking.
I can’t imagine stripping on camera being tempting for most guys…

    • I’m pretty sure if someone took selfies at a soup kitchen, I would call it a humblebrag, and hate them just as much.

      • Agreed… but with the particular type of person I was talking about once they found fulfillment in giving rather than receiving (comments) and found the value they have beyond the ability to align pixels into something visually attractive the selfies would die.
